Ilan is a Latino actor based in NYC and Ithaca, NY who received his MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School. He has acted on film, TV, and regional theater. He co-hosted the PBS program Jewish Delis: Something to Kvell About and appears in the film The Birthday Party starring Willem Dafoe, coming to MAX soon. He is a member of AEA.

Ilan is a highly experienced improviser who trained at the UCB and Magnet in NYC. He performed on house teams at the Magnet for five years and created the professional improvised show Undressed: The Musical. Ilan has toured the east coast, performing improv professionally at schools, summer camps, and corporate events.

Ilan teaches improv and acting at all levels, from performers on main stages in NYC, to grade school students, to corporate clients. Ilan regularly teaches with the acclaimed Hangar Theatre and taught a weekly improv workshop at the NYC offices of Meta (Facebook). He once taught improv to Punkie Johnson (SNL)!
